FACT Co. Hamilton offers First Aid Training in the Waikato, with experienced trainers available nationwide. Training can be delivered at your premises at a time and date that suits you, whilst minimising disruption to your business. They also offer industry and scenario specific First Aid courses designed around your workplace’s individual needs. Their trainers are New Zealand Resuscitation Council Certified Instructors and experienced adult educators who aim to make learning fun and practical.

Comprehensive First Aid

This 1.5 day (12 hour) course is recommended for high-risk job sites, and those away from the urban environment where it might take a bit longer for emergency services to arrive. The Comprehensive First Aid Course is a minimum requirement for most workplaces and meets the new guidelines from WorkSafe New Zealand (Feb 2020).

Everyday Workplace First Aid

This 8 hour course is for designated first aiders at low to medium risk workplaces, and for around the home. It covers Unit Standards 6402 and 6401.

Essential Workplace First Aid

Affectionately known as "The Blitz" this 4 hour course is for those in the workplace who need to learn the foundations of First Aid in a fun and interactive course. It is designed for those who may be called upon to assist the workplace's designated first aiders.

Industry Specific First Aid

Adjunct sessions to their Everyday Workplace First Aid and Comprehensive First Aid courses, tailored to meet the specific needs of your workplace.

CPR & AED

This course is great for people who need to refresh their Resuscitation Skills. Ideally you would have a basic knowledge of First Aid to attend this quick paced course.

Resuscitation Course for Vaccinators

This 3 hour course complies with appendix 4.4 of the 2020 Immunisation Handbook. All vaccinators, by virtue of their occupation, need to be able to resuscitate patients and therefore need to achieve and maintain resuscitation skills.

Refresher First Aid

This 6 hour course is for those who have attended their Comprehensive First Aid Course or an Everyday Workplace First Aid or equivalent from another provider, and their two-year certificate is due for renewal.
